At Mike’s Driving School in New Jersey, we’ve been getting drivers safely on the road since 1993. With decades of experience in both personal and commercial driver training, our seasoned instructors can help you earn a reputation as a responsible driver. We provide education for new motorists just learning the rules of the road, adult drivers who want to erase points from their licenses, and training for students pursuing their commercial driver’s license (CDL). Mike’s Driving School is located in Clayton and Williamstown, New Jersey, and serves students throughout South NJ, including Burlington County, Cape May County, Audubon, Pittsgrove, Vineland, and Voorhees Township.

Our team of professional instructors offers comprehensive driver education and training for new, experienced, and commercial drivers. Courses at Mike’s Driving School include:
Get your permit at 16 with this course that provides six hours of behind-the-wheel training in preparation for your road test. We work to make this program as convenient as possible, including:
16-year-olds can enroll in this course and take their permit test at Mike’s Driving School. We’ll validate your driving permit upon successful completion of the test, so you won’t need to visit the NJ Motor Vehicle Commission office.
Do you need to clean up your driving record? We offer a six-hour, online defensive driving course. Upon successful completion of the course, you will be eligible for a two-point reduction on your driving record. You may also qualify for a discount through your insurance company. Three additional points may be removed from your record after a year with no additional incidents. You can complete this course on your own schedule at any time.
Mike’s Driving School offers Adult Initial, Refresher, and Evaluations classes. Whether you need to brush up your skills after taking time away from driving, or need to rebuild your confidence after an accident, our experienced instructors will help you evaluate and improve your basic driving skills. This course is designed for permitted and licensed adult drivers. The course covers:
Mike’s Driving School offers several options for commercial driver training, so you’re equipped to begin a career using Class A or Class B vehicles. Many of our courses include OSHA-approved forklift operator training to provide you with additional industry skills. We currently offer the following CDL courses:
Mike’s Driving School also provides job search assistance and help with interview prep for CDL students.
Personal driver courses are offered at our school in Williamstown, NJ. All CDL courses are offered at our other location in Clayton, NJ. Financing is available for our CDL school courses, and financial aid is available to those who qualify.
